About Us
Our Philosophy
Three ancient Indian principles act as strong pillars of our institution. Our attempt is to infuse them across all levels in order to build a great and enduring educational institution.

Shiksha or Learning means valuing the continuous acquisition of knowledge at all stages of life. Each individual at Redbricks is encouraged to develop a relentless curiosity and a passion to continuously learn through inquiry and dialogue.

Saadhana or Practice for the Pursuit of Excellence means trying to be the best that one can be in every situation as well as to improve oneself constantly. Each member at Redbricks is expected to draw motivation intrinsically, set standards for excellence, to be reflective and mindful, be disciplined and hard working and act ethically in accordance with the larger good of the system and society.

Swara or Rhythm denotes the elements of beauty, creativity and harmony. At Redbricks, we value the development of the aesthetic senses along with intellectual development. An appreciation for all things beautiful results in an engaging rhythm that makes life fulfilling.

Our Inspiration
Arjuna: The Dancing Warrior
Our inspiration comes from Arjuna, a legendary warrior from Indian mythology. Among the five Pandavas, Arjuna is made distinct by his ability to question, acquire knowledge at various stages of life and strive to be the best at his profession, in this case; archery. But apart from all this, Arjuna crafts an appreciation for beauty in life, and becomes a dance teacher in one period of the Mahabharata. Arjuna with his bow and arrow signifies the importance of excelling at one’s vocation, which is essential for the development of civilization, and appreciating beauty, essential for the sustenance of culture.

Arjuna was an ideal student, always eager to receive Shiksha from the Guru, his peers and his surroundings. It is his single-minded focus, his Saadhana that made him the greatest warrior and archer of his time. Arjuna was not only a great archer but he was a great dancer too. He was a lover of art and beauty, and it is this Swara that adds colour to life and makes a holistic human being.
