Redbricks' Senior School - Ahmedabad

Redbricks Senior School

The Senior School (Classes 7-12) at Redbricks helps children acquire the knowledge and skills required to succeed in the high school board examinations and build strong future careers for themselves.

Program Vision

At this important stage of adolescence, we strive to ensure children are future-ready, provided with a healthy socio-emotional environment and encouraged to engage in talent development specific to their areas of interest.

Senior School Pedagogy

Teachers use a combination of teacher-directed and student-centred teaching-learning methodologies with a strong emphasis on student engagement. Independent assignments which require a real-world application also enable students to make meaningful connections between theory and practice.

Students work in several academic and non-academic areas through project and inquiry-based learning, which helps them learn how to research, plan, execute and evaluate their work in a holistic manner. Students have access to a range of resources including a well equiped resource center, labs and more.

At Redbricks, all students undergo a staged talent development program which helps them to explore and enhance their interests and skills across various fields/career domains relevant to the 21st century.

Our Class 9 to 12 students gain career exposure through two types of projects at Redbricks – Community Service Projects and Craft Apprenticeship Projects. The students also have the unique opportunity to gain external accreditation for their hard work through the International Award for Young People (IAYP) organisation. Students are also graded on these projects as per the SUPW requirements of the CISCE board.

Workshops

We host a variety of expert-led workshops that can help students gain exposure to various college and career opportunities and the skills required to pursue them. Development of research skills, communication skills, thinking skills, leadership skills, etc., is a strong part of such workshops.

Internships

We encourage and help students participate in external internships that help them understand the application of what they are learning or considering to pursue through higher education in those fields.

I feel deeply grateful for the way the school identified my unique strengths and guided me to reach my potential. The thoughtful teachers paid attention to each student’s individuality, helping me not only recognize my abilities but also work on my areas of improvement.

Since the 4th grade when I joined, Redbricks has given me innumerable opportunities to showcase my skills and capabilities. Redbricks always felt like a second home to me and there was never a day when I wasn't willing to attend school. The teachers at Redbricks have always supported me and I am eternally grateful to them. Redbricks will always be an integral part of my childhood.

Achieving success required more than just grades; it also required discipline, consistency, and the faith my teachers instilled in me. Redbricks provided me with an atmosphere that valued curiosity and made learning exciting. Beyond the classroom, it shaped my character and mindset.

At Redbricks I have always been given an opportunity, a stage, a platform and a voice that I know will be heard. Throughout each year we have been given the wonderful opportunities to learn skills that have greatly helped me build confidence, public speaking abilities and so much more.

I’m immensely satisfied with all that the school has to offer. I am extremely lucky to have such supportive, friendly and understanding teachers, and I'm grateful for such a nurturing environment.

Redbricks has shaped my journey with its nurturing environment, inspiring teachers, and strong sense of community.
