A school culture built on shared values, respect and the quest for growth!
A school’s culture is often called ‘the hidden curriculum’ because it plays a powerful yet invisible role in shaping children’s characters. Ours is carefully crafted to promote important core values and character traits in children.
We treat students as citizens in a democratic society, who learn to exercise freedom and make choices while holding responsibility for their actions.
We focus on social-emotional learning and community-building practices to develop emotional regulation and social skills.
We use positive disciplining techniques such as the use of logical consequences (instead of punishments) and positive reinforcers (instead of rewards).
We ensure positive Teacher-Student relationships and a collaborative classroom climate to create psychological safety.
We engage parents as partners and adopt a collaborative problem-solving approach to address children’s needs.
Our school has defined 5 core values for its student, staff and parent community to collectively share and follow, in order to create a collaborative, happy and healthy learning community. These values are brought alive by training and encouraging all children, staff and parents to adopt these core values in their thoughts and actions.
Being present in the moment, practicing self-awareness, and valuing an integration of all our energies (physical, intellectual, socio-emotional, creative and spiritual) for holistic well-being.
Feeling strongly about learning/our work and constantly innovating to grow and thrive in the face of change or challenges.
Pursuing a continuous long-term process to achieve excellence in whatever we choose to do – one that involves proactive action, deliberate practice and continuous learning.
Practicing deep care, kindness and understanding towards others to gain happiness, and work cooperatively and synergistically to create meaningful outcomes.
Choosing to consistently follow the right actions for the larger good of the community for collective well-being and progress.
At Redbricks, learning extends beyond the four walls of a classroom! Campuses are carefully designed keeping in mind principles of child centricity, holistic learning, and sustainability. Teachers plan teaching methods to engage children in learning through experiences across the entire campus.
